BALT 4396 - WEEK 4: AI Data Generation

Every few weeks or so, whenever my mom asks my dad that we have groceries to stock up on he either always asks how much she needs or after he gives a certain amount or gives his credit card, he complains about how much my mom spent. He forgets inflation exists in today's economy but this has been ongoing conversation for years. I asked Chat GPT to generate a data table for me with the data of 12 month food expenses for groceries in a household. Here is the total spent for each month. (I tried adding screenshots from my laptop to show exactly what my results looked like but technical difficulties so here is the data copied & pasted from Chat GPT.) Month Grocery Expenses ($) January 350 February 420 March 390 April 470 May 310 June 450 July 380 August 520 September 340 October 480 November 400 December 550 I then asked to include specifics of what was bought and how much it costed.  January ($350) Fruits: $50 Vegetables: $40 Dairy: $60 Meat/Fish: $80 Other Essentials (snacks,...

When searching for a job or internship it's essential to be strategic. Start by customizing your resume and cover letter for each position, focusing on relevant skills and experiences. Week 2 BALT 4396- Reconsidering Majors

Being a psych major, I plan to get my masters in clinical psychology to become a Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)  The job outlook for LPCs is very strong. Employment in this field is expected to grow by 18% from 2022 to 2032, which is faster than the average for most occupations. This growth is driven by a greater need for mental health services in schools, hospitals, and community centers. More people are becoming aware of mental health issues, and the stigma around seeking help is decreasing, making this a growing field. When it comes to salary, the average LPC in the United States earns about $71,915 per year. However, salaries can vary depending on location. For example, in Illinois, LPCs earn an average of $84,006 per year. These differences can be due to factors like the cost of living and the demand for mental health services in different areas. Automation and artificial intelligence (AI) pose little risk to this profession. There's only about a 10% risk that mental h...
